Every other month on the 4th Thursday at 7 PM |
The First Church Book Club is reorganizing so that we are reading books every other month (instead of monthly). The purpose is to explore experiences beyond our own primarily through fiction. We will meet online on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7 pm. Our first meeting in the new format is on March 26 at 7 pm to discuss "The Violin Conspiracy" by Brendan Slocumb which explores racism and greed in today's society in riveting fiction. We will also select the books we want to read for the rest of the year (May 28, July 23, September 24, and November 19 to avoid Thanksgiving). Please bring a list of books that you suggest for future meetings.
A zoom link will be sent in the confirmation email.
