Social & Climate Justice in Action! Volunteering at the Furniture Repair Bank

The Furniture Repair Bank is an arm of Zero Waste Washington, and they promote reusing furniture by saving it from landfills and then partner with organizations to donate it to people transitioning out of homelessness, refugees, and the like.
No experience is required - seriously - they teach you how to use their equipment and help teach people how to paint and sand. If you have upholstery or sewing experience, they will happily have you do that work too! The number of volunteers is capped at 25, so sign up soon!
